Candle & Wax Info

About :-

Our designer wax cupcakes and treats are highly fragrant and home made using Soy wax. The fragrant oils used in our range are very strong and not the cheap kind, ensuring a great smelling burn. Each wax cupcake/treat is individually poured and crafted by us ~ no two are the same.

These melts/tarts look gorgeous on display or you can melt them in the top of your oil burner (no water needed) for hours of gorgeous aroma in your home. I have found when using them in an oil burner, the fragrance lasts for about 3 tealight burnings, which is about 10-12 hours all up per melt.

Why Soy? It's a natural, renewable product and soy wax burns longer than paraffin. We are using a 90% soy = 10% paraffin wax mix for our candles.

Safety?

You should NEVER leave a burning candle unattended. Burn candles within sight and away from drafts and vibrations. Keep out of reach of children and pets. Never burn a candle on anything that may catch fire. As oil burner dish sizes may vary, ensure that once the wax has melted in your own burner, that it doesn't spill over. I use a tile underneath my burners to prevent any accidental spillage or overflow of wax. Ensure that you remove your melt/tart from any packaging before use.

We believe our candles and melts look like real cupcakes. They must do as our 5 year old daughter one morning, saw the night's before 'cakes' on the kitchen bench and decided they looked good enough to eat and took a bite out of one! { It certainly didn't taste as nice as it looked } I would suggest that you keep your melts/candles out of reach of small children as they do look yummy and good enough to eat.

How do I get the wax tarts/melts out of my oil burner?

You simple wait until the wax cools in the top of the burner and then just pop them out. Sometimes, you may need to use a butter knife to slide them out. Alternatively, you can pop your burner in the freezer or re-light a tea light in the burner for a small amount of time and then just slide the wax out.
